Meet the Board

Aimun Alavi is a University of Chicago alum where she obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, and hot yoga! She wanted to join For the Sisters Chicago because she believes there are so many talented women in Chicago who deserve to have a space to showcase their individuality! 

Alexandra Daher is a Loyola University Chicago alum where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing the piano, and fashion! Alex wanted to join For the Sisters Chicago because she loves the mission of the organization and what it offers for the community!

Ashley An is a University of Wisconsin alum where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In her free time, she enjoys yoga. Ashley wanted to join For The Sisters Chicago because she value’s this organization mission to empower women. She hopes to bring her cultural background as an Asian woman to support women in the community and help drive positive change together!

Ayesha Ather is a Webster University alum where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, horseback riding, interior decoration, and fashion. She wanted to join For the Sisters Chicago because she truly believes in the power of female friendship!

Bella Hanson is a Florida State University alum where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. In her free time, she enjoys working out, running, and reading! Bella wanted to join For the Sisters Chicago to network and make new friendships in an organization that empowers women. 

Juhie Faheem is a Roosevelt University alum where she obtained a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys singing, dancing, traveling, and hiking! She wanted to join For the Sisters Chicago because she loves mentoring and philanthropic events, She has a variety of experiences that she would love to share with others!

Kameron Walker is a Howard University alum where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a double minor in Spanish and Chemistry. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, playing the piano, and baking. She wanted to join For the Sisters Chicago because she is passionate about empowering women and is looking forward to meeting new women!

Nuveria Tajammul is a DePaul University alum where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Management. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and learning a new language. She wanted to join For the Sisters Chicago to help build a better sisterhood while meeting new people and having fun!

Saena Sadiq is a Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science alum where she obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, playing guitar, sewing, and baking. Saena wanted to join For the Sisters Chicago because she wants to support every woman and girl in the community who needs a helping hand when taking their next step forward.
